Information Communication and Technology (ICT) Strand
Are you inquisitive enough to learn how a computer works and what things can you do through using it? Tech-savvy? Eager to know the wonders of animating and basic computer servicing? Well then, TVL-ICT is probably the suitable strand for you! Information Communication and Technology (ICT), under the Technical-Vocational Livelihood (TVL) Track, is a strand designed for students who are inclined to be equipped with relevant, technical skills, competencies, and knowledge related to graphic design, computer programming, computer systems, web design, animation, technical drafting, telecom installation and medical transcription, and a lot more which gives an edge in applying for jobs in the creative technological field or taking IT-related college degree programs. In addition to learning a lot from its disciplines, one advantage of graduating under the ICT strand is the guarantee to be eligible to take assessments from TESDA and earn certifications such as Competency (COC) and National Certifications (NC). These certifications will grant a high possibility of employment and build a career right out of high school!
